The chicks are doing great so far. It's super important to hold the them each day so they get used to human contact and learn that you aren't a threat. They will come up to me and eat from my hand instead of just running away now! The weekly photo shoots are getting more difficult, these little peepers are able to jump pretty high now, they want to get out and explore! I purchased bird netting from Walmart and draped it over the brooder to deter them from jumping out, securing it with chip clips. Not too pretty but it works!
