The chicks have already changed so much in their first week. They have developed legit bird wings and started sprouting the cutest little tail feathers. We added a branch into their brooder and they have had a blast learning to perch on it and flap their wings. Speaking of wing flapping, these little ones are getting close to being able to escape the brooder. They are curious about what goes on on the other side of the walls and will jump and flap to try and get out. Some brooder modifications will be coming soon to keep them safe inside!
